Ever felt like you’re trying to meditate… but not really getting anywhere?

Sitting quietly, yet feeling like nothing is happening?

The Trick of Meditation is a reflective meeting that invites you to pause and explore what makes meditation feel natural, simple, and effective.

Meditation is often approached as something to “do” or achieve. But without understanding the process, it can feel effortful or unclear. This meeting creates space to reflect on how a small shift in approach can change the entire experience—inspired by the wisdom of Pujya Gurudevshri.

  • Sometimes it’s not about trying harder, but understanding differently
  • Effort and control can make the process feel more difficult
  • Observing without interference can bring a different quality of ease
  • What we focus on internally shapes our experience

This session offers an opportunity to:

  • Reflect on how you currently approach meditation
  • Explore the difference between effort and ease
  • Understand the role of awareness and observation
  • Notice what helps meditation feel more natural

This is not about doing more.

It is about doing less, and understanding more.
